Pure color
The series of paintings "Pure Color" 2021 is an artist's study of color, form and the influence of this complex on the emotional state of a person, based on the works of artists and researchers of color and form, as well as art therapy knowledge. In 1921, Alexander Rodchenko created historical works - 3 evenly painted canvases - Pure Red, Pure Yellow and Pure Blue, which were presented to the public in September 1921 at the 5 x 5 group exhibition. In this triptych, Rodchenko embodied the rejection of the subject of the image, focusing on line, texture, and form. Studies by Johansan Itten and Wassily Kandinsky about color and shape prove that each color has a correct shape: red is a square shape, blue is a circle, yellow is a triangle. Creating a series "Pure Color" the author captures his own feelings and emotional state. The task in the process of creation was also to achieve a harmonious state, including when depicting tense forms (triangle and square). Thus, in the images, all the corners are rounded, since when creating a triangle in yellow, the artist experienced that anxiety came to replace joy (the influence of yellow) as soon as sharp corners were created. The most harmonious feeling was when creating circles in blue.
